An Answer to a Tough Question
by Serge Kahili King
A number of people over the years have asked me why some things happen so easily for some people, while others have to put a lot of effort into programming for them. And why one person finds some things are brought about easily while he or she has to program hard for other things. more…
Those of you who know my book, The 7 Lost Secrets of Ecstasy and Success, will recognize the helpful technique below, written by a woman I would describe as very beautiful in all ways – Kay Snow Davis.
I knew her on Kauai for many years before she moved to California. There is so much I could say about Kay, her talents, her abilities, her heart – for they were all so big. But I’d simply like to acknowledge that I had a profound admiration for her and held her in the highest regard. I was stunned to hear of her passing.
Kay loved Kaua’i so much she requested her ashes be returned to the island and a Memorial Ceremony is being held there on Saturday, June 26th.
Here is a memorial website for Kay – www.caringbridge.org/visit/kaysnowdavis/mystory
Here is the excerpt from my book, with one of Kay’s techniques, that she so graciously allowed me to share. It has benefited me and so many of my students: more…

The philosophy of Huna represents a unique expression of indigenous wisdom that has emerged from secret teachings of the ancient Polynesian people of Hawaii and the South Seas islands. All these island cultures are linked by a common root language, kindred spiritual practices, similar traditional stories and a shared approach to everyday relating, commerce, health and community. In its broadest scope, the Huna path represents a remarkable approach to life, grounded in insights linked to the deepest origins of humankind, yet directly applicable to contemporary society.
When we look closely at the two short Polynesian words that make up the term huna, we can gain insight into the deeper nature of its wisdom and meaning. more…

One of the greatest discoveries of the ancient kahunas was that love works better than anything else as a tool for effective action. Jesus taught similarly. For the Huna masters, the first thing to consider in our desire to feel compassionate love for the world is always our love for ourselves. Your connection with yourself is the most basic relationship you have. If you are not in harmony with yourself, if you don’t have a loving relationship with yourself, you will then feel lack in your relationship with others. more…

How Can I Use Huna to Find Something I’ve Lost?
by Serge Kahili King
Here are a couple of ways that have worked well for many people. Before using either of them it helps a great deal to relax as completely as possible.
a.) Close your eyes and ask your ‘ku’ or subconscious to let you know where it is. Pay attention to any images or feelings that come up. If you get an image of a location, go there, but pay attention to everything on the way. Sometimes you’ll find what you want on the way to somewhere else.
Some people will feel a sort of pull or tug in a particular direction, or a feeling of ease in the right direction and a kind of resistance in the wrong direction.
b.) If the process doesn’t work right away, relax again, tell your ‘ku’ or subconsious to find it for you, then drop the search and go on about your business. Very often you will then find what you want without looking for it.

Decorate Your Soul
by Veronica A. Schoffstall
After awhile you learn the difference, a subtle difference,
Between holding a hand and chaining a soul.
And you learn that love doesn’t mean leaning
and company doesn’t always mean security.
And you begin to learn that kisses aren’t contracts
and presents aren’t promises.
And you begin to accept your defeats
with your head up and your eyes ahead,
with the grace of an adult, not the grief of a child.
And you learn to build all your roads on today
because tomorrow’s ground is too uncertain for plans,
and futures have a way of falling down in midflight.
After a while you learn that even sunshine burns
If you get too much.
So plant your own garden and decorate your own soul,
instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers
And you learn that you really can endure…
that you really are strong.
And you really do have worth.

Simplicity by Serge Kahili King
One of the most useful lessons I ever learned in my shaman training was that life is really very simple, and so are the solutions to our problems. What makes it seem so complicated is that we get distracted by all the things there are to see and do and think about, and then we get so stressed by the effort to make everything work out right that we get confused and angry or fearful. more…

Love is frequently depicted by two hearts pierced with Cupid’s arrow. But must we stand by and wait for the arrows in Cupid’s quiver before finding ourselves in throes of love?
My emphatic reply is, “No!”
Here’s a different point of view in line with modern-day science – that being smitten is a function of invisible forces.
And what are these invisible forces? They are found within the hidden power of our own biology, which can attract and shape a cherished relationship. There are invisible air-born chemicals known as pheromones that can make us more attractive to the opposite sex.

Did you notice? Many people found 2009 very challenging and were thrilled to welcome in 2010!
The excitement I felt with the New Year had a lot to do with the idea of a “clean slate” in front of me and a new chance to design and witness miracles!
I got excited and created some new offerings that would make sure I’d do that AND bring others with me on the journey!
